Only you can know how your particular dog will adapt to complete blindness. For some dogs, their quality of life would be pretty poor, for others it wouldn't. Sounds like yours would still have a fairly happy life. Don't worry about what other people think... ultimately, it is your decision, and you certainly seem mature and compionate enough not to be keeping her alive for selfish reasons.
