Told a big lie and got my stepfather in trouble with the police,what should I do?

I have never had the best relationship with my stepfather and lately was getting in a lot of trouble in and out of school.After a couple of trips to the police station and the head masters office my mother forced me to some counseling sessions.At one of the sessions I was real cranky with my stepdad who had just grounded me so I told the counselor that my stepdad had been touching me and doing things to me for about 8 years,I am now 16.I didn't think it would go further but the police were called in and I thought it was too late to back out so I lied to them too.Now my stepfather is in mive trouble they have taken his computer to look for kiddie and he looks like losing his job and maybe prison.What should I do,I really don't like him but feel a tiny bit guilty he is in trouble?
