How to adjust the e-brake on a 2001 Pontiac grand am GT?

I have a 2001 Grand AM and just recently I went for a test drive to make sure that the brake was working properly and sure enough it wasn't. I had a friend push the car in neutral and I pulled up the brake to stop it and it just kept on rolling. I've read several articles on how to adjust the brake, but would like more specifics (if you could) on how to do it. Treat me like a rookie because that's all that I am. I just don't want some overpriced dealership to charge me saying I need a whole new brake line when really all it needs is to be adjusted. (I'm pretty sure that's all it needs, because whenever I pull all the way up on the brake it does not get tight and I've heard it should get tight after 6 or 7 clicks.

the man I love is 64 years old and he is 23 years older than me. Whatever, we fell n love somehow with the obvious divine intervention since neither of us were allowed to see the other with our eyes opened. only in the process of running away from each other we were allowed to have a glimpse of our true personalities. It turned out that we were both deeply wrong. He appeared not so smart as I believed and I appeared not so stupid as he believed. His intention was to come to the bottom of my dreams with him to see what it was there or maybe to see how to make me happy to the ultimate.My intention was to compromise to the highest possible degree because I believed what would have been MY ideal scenario would have been impossible to have with HIM, considering his age, his job, his family, everything about him. So, my intention, I repeat was to cast away the "ideal" scenario of "happiness" because it was not a scenario of happiness with him and I loved him, I wanted POSSIBLE scenario with him, not an impossible dream, or possible reality that would destroy the person I love. So, in this process of discovering the bottom of my soul for the purpose of keeping me at all costs and giving me what I ultimately want, he forced himself into the depth of my soul completely disregarding the fact that a dream without him is not the same dream and that by doing this he is killing my love for him by force and without me having a say in it. No matter how much I tried to keep it real and POSSIBLE he went further and further obsessing deeper and deeper into problems that actually dont exist at all in reality. I just got done digging a 100-130 gallon hole in my backyard for my two red eared slider turtles. Today I am going shopping for the liner and other things I need for the pond. I know RES turtles eat fish so I want to put guppies and aquatic snails in the pond for my turtles to chase around and eat. I'm going to use chlorine remover and reptile and amphibian water conditioner on the water before I put my turtles in. Will the guppies and snails be able to live in that?

I recently went to the gyno for an annual and went on the pill because my periods were irregular. The doctor prescribed me provera, which is a hormone pill to force a period. I then began taking yaz. I have 5 days left until I hit the placebos, and I'm still bleeding. I called the doctor and they told me this is normal, but gave me no idea when it will stop. potty training- puppy training pads and if that dont work whenever u catch her doing it in the house or anywhere she is not supposed to put her nose in it and take her outside and u can crate train nibble on people- when ever she nibbles on u say at at and ignore her and walk away or if she is on a leash ignore her and turn your back on her and wait a few minutes then start playing with her again and if she does it again just do the same thing over and over that should work - eating everything - when she is eating poop and u see it say no and take her away and when u see her poop outside put pepper on it when she is done so when she tryes to eat it she will have a nasty taste in her mouth that should stop her from eating that - jumping - when she tryes to jump on u tell her no very firmily and when someone comes to your house make her sit and stay when u open the door and let the person sit down on the couch or sear but if she gets up before that u tell the person to please go back outside and wait a few minutes and knock on the door again and when your dog gets it right and sit and stay intill the person sits down tell the dog good dog and let her go visit and if she jumps on the person when they r siting down take the dog out of the room for a few minutes and wait and take her back in and keep doing that intill she stops jumping - this is all the stuff that i did with my dog and she is very well trained in all of this so i hope all this helps u with your dog to

Getting a 7 1/2 month old to fall asleep on her own?

My 7 1/2 mth old will only fall asleep if I'm holding her & giving her a bottle. Is now the time when I should be putting her in her crib and basically letting her 'cry it out'? I feel so bad doing that, but I know thats how they learn. I have heard of the ferber technique and will probably go that route. We had snow and ice overnight, and this morning I woke up to find that it was still icing. I was supposed to have court at 9 am, and this is in a town 30 minutes from where I live. So I called about 20 times to find out if it was canceled. It was either always busy or there was no answer. I listened to the recording and they said nothing about it being canceled. So I packed up all three of my babbys and headed off to court..which took even longer then a half hour to get there cause its icing outside. What do I find when I get there? I sign on the door saying court is canceled, and they'll mail out a new court date. WTF?! They made me waste all that gas to find out it's canceled. Why would they not put a recording about it? Somebody obv went there to put the sign, so why couldnt they change the recording? Arghh I am so aggravated! Do courts just not have any common courtesy? What if I was from the city, and got the ticket when I was upstate. I would have driven an hour and a half to get there only to find it was canceled. They have no respect for people!

Why don't we use "bear poop" as an alternative fuel? It's very plentiful and much easier to obtain (cheaper!) than gas and oil? It could be warmed and "melted down" in tube-like pipelines. I need help getting financial aid?

I withdraw a course on spring, and financial aid hasn't contact me ever since. I went in line for 2 hours to talk to a financial aid specialist, and the lady was really rude and being unprofessional. She was talking to her co workers and stuff, and I had to sit there waiting 5 minute just listening to her convo.. When she was done, all she told me was that "do I have a diploma?" I answered yes, and 5 min. later she told me I was suspended from financial aid.. After that, she gave me a paper to reinstate my financial aid application, but I never fill it out.. Instead, I waited a week to fill out the application online, but I never got a reply ever since.. It's been 1 to 2 weeks already, and financial aid never mail me an application stating I'm suspended or not.. I'm so worried right now that I have filled out job application because if I don't get any aid for next semester, I'm very screwed.. What should I do? Sewer line back up, cleanup my responsibility or cities?

I'm having trouble with my local water company. For the second time in a week their sewer line has clogged under the road . Both times sewer drainage backed up into my pipes and spilled out a vent pipe by my front steps. This isn't a small leak either it left a steady stream of sewage down my driveway and yard nearly 5 feet across of sewer water. Both times I have called the city and they unclogged their pipe. My question is whether it is their or my responsibility to clean my yard? It smells like an outhouse when I walk outside. Also the last time it backed up it blew up the top half including the cap of my venting pipe and rained sewer all over the top my front steps which is 36 inches off the ground. The pipe problem itself is down the street from my house.

that is a good start, but there are ways to improve the consistency and power of your deck. first, i would eliminate blue from your deck. the cards that you're getting from blue are not worth the instability that they create in your mana base. second, i would suggest adding Stillmoon Cavaliers as a powerful zombie. then take out Mind Rot and Megrim because they don't do much on their own. I would favor more Duress and Sign In Blood cards. That's just a start, it's really going to take a lot of playing before you find the perfect deck. Good luck!

Hi guys, I'm 14, currently 165 pounds. During the last two months, I lost about 20 pounds, but I really don't know exactly how I did. Now I want to be AT LEAST 150 pounds before September starts. What I do is 50 push ups (increases by week), 40 sit-ups (increases by week), and some leg exercises but they aren't important because I'm trying to focus on my stomach area. I do these exercises around 12:00 p.m. and again at around 8-9:30 p.m. Everyday I'm currently running for 30 minutes at 6 m.p.h. (on a treadmill). I increase the time by 5 minutes each week. My whole lower body is absolutely killing me. I've worked harder in my gym cl, but I can hardly walk anymore. The pain is mostly in my shin area but it starts at the thighs. My friends say I might have pulled a muscle but I don't know. I'm 23 and she's 20 and we've been dating for 2months. Does any one know of a solution to this auto problem?

I have owned several Chevrolet trucks (both pickup and suburbans). Without exception, the models with the 02 to 08 truck style (including the suburbans which didn't have a body style change until the most recent I found that somewhere around 75,000 to 100,000 miles, the front end would develop a knocking noise when traveling at low speeds over bumpy terrain. You can also feel the "knocking" sensation through the steering wheel. I even drove a friend's suburban once and it was doing the same thing. It just feels like something in the steering column is loose and knocking against something else. I took my first pickup with this problem in to a dealership and they said it needed a "front end lube kit" (best I can remember). Once it was installed the problem completely vanished. Problem is, on every other Chevy that developed the same problem, I have taken them in and no one seems to know what the problem is nor have they ever heard of a "lube kit". So does anyone know what I'm talking about and do you know what the solution is?

I got sugar glider half year ago, she is almost 2 years old now...Its very cute female glider, and she bonded to me in great way, I really have lot of fun with her.But no matter of that, still in the nights she got to bark sometimes even 5 times a night I would wake up and go to calm her down.So I decided to get another glider to be company to her.I got this little glider who is half year old, not baby, but still little.I had them in separate cages for 5 days, and then I let my female glider out of cage and jumping on other cage.But she gets ssso agressive to little glider and he is crabing very much!I dont know what to do...they 'seem not to like each other, what can I do to make them 'friends??Is it possible? Whats the best 'all in one' feed. tried and tested? would it work out cheaper?

It doesn't necessarily work out "cheaper" to feed the all in one horse feeds. As horses are intended to graze for most of the day, a good quality gr hay is the best feed. Give them access to minerals and salt to encourage them to drink and monitor their weight. Hay will help them keep warm as it's digested slowly and helps them maintain body temperature. If they have plenty of hay and drop weight, add some kind of concentrated "fattening" feed. Your custom blend is probably fine.

Why do people ociate the confederate flag with 'white power' type groups?

I forgot my wireless router pword!?

I have a HP running Vista if that matters at all... it is a desktop with a wireless N card (forgot which one, sold in a blue box at Wal-Mart). I had it configured correctly, but then I had to send it in for repairs. During that time I had to reset the router. The router is a Cisco branded one. When I try to connect it asks for a pcode and I can't figure out how to make one or find one or whatnot. The desktop wired to the router is an older one running XP. What has happened with my bankruptcy?

Two years ago I declared bankruptcy. I then came into some troubles and moved away, and being the irresponsible girl I was, never took care of completing my bankruptcy and being discharged. I left it open and now that I am back and need to sort myself out I called my bankruptcy trustees to find out what I need to do. They advised me that "as trustees, they were discharged from my bankruptcy". I am not exactly sure what this means. I believe it means that because I never took care of it and did the duties igned they closed the file and all my debts would have been reinstated and its as though my ankruptcy just never was. Is this correct? Does it mean I do not need to be discharged now as all my debts are now my responsibility again and the bakruptcy is just gone? Any help would be hugley appreciated.

okay so lately I've been really bothered by the fact that both of my best friends seem to be using me. With it being 7" wide you could pick up a couple of sheetrock patches (these are sticky on the back and wire mesh front) from the local hardware store (Lowe's or Home Depot, etc.) You'll need some joint compound, large putty knife (10"), large sanding pads (all these are in the sheetrock section). Put the patches over the holes the run a thin layer of the joint compound over the patch. You'll want to build it higher in the middle of the patch and run it down to nothing a few inches past the edge. Let the first layer dry (over night) then apply another layer going out just a little further and let dry. Next sand smooth-you may need to do a third layer and sand again. Prime and then paint. Good luck.

There have been people in my life that have left an imprint. That means I cant forget them even though i want to. They have all moved on and im here wondering....what's the big idea! When people don't know me, they tend to have their own impression of me. Some put me on a pedestal while others look down on me. LOL, astigmatism will not cause blindness. Anyway, eyesight naturally deteriorates with age anyway. It might happen more rapidly with bad eyesight, but it WILL slow down and eventually stop until you're quite old. :P And yes, you are lucky to not have astigmatism, it's rather bothersome.

in the state where I now reside, far far away from Utah, all my new friends keep nagging at me that I have to go to M, as I was raised Catholic BEFORE the cult got ahold of me in Utah. I was in the cult for 19 years. I was perfect for the pickin' when they recruited me...single white female, new town, new job, no friends...I thought the mormons were my friends, but I found out after a while that they weren't. They were never my friends. Seemed like in UT that if one wasn't a "member" then they were treated by the majority as outcasts. They tried to mold me into a stepford wife, and since I couldn't have kids, that made me a total outcast...My marriage ended in a divorce as well, and the women started getting really "clingy" to their men when they saw me. Like I was gonna "steal" their man?? NOPE, I dint think so!! That was definitely the last thing on my mind. A lot of bad things happened over the years cause I wouldn't conform, so they made my life a living hell. I left that place in the middle of the night, and didn't look back. I went thru deprogramming by myself, cause I couldn't find any cult recovery groups where I now reside. I have read as much as I can get my hands on such as literature from 'Utah Lighthouse Ministries' and it has helped, but how do I deal with my current situation? Are there others out there that have left the so called "church" that went through the same thing I am? Needless to say, I am so sick and tired of being nagged now about how my mom and new friends always say to me "You HAVE to go to M, blah,blah,blah....etc,." I was even "forced" by my devout Catholic mom to go to a faith formation cl after I got back here, and I was miserable. She lied to me and said that it was a cult recovery type of cl. I didn't understand any of it, and I was extremely BORED!!! I only stuck around for maybe 45 minutes of 3 cles on it and then I quit going all together. I have pretty well quit going to m too. I go once in a while, but my heart just isn't in it. A friend of mine said that we cant go out and have fun or go shopping now unless I start going to mass. This is driving me crazy!!! feeding and cow's milk?

My son (he'll be 1 next week) normally nurses 4 times per day. For the past few weeks the amount of time that he nurses during 2 of his feedings has REALLY decreased. I have not yet intriduced cow's milk and won't really be able to for another week...we're going out of town for the week and he's had bad reactions to a couple of foods, so any new food is introduced very slowly and I don't want a sick baby when we are away from home. So, is there any type of urgency for me to strat giving him cow's milk since his nursing has decreased or do I follow his lead on this? He eats a well balanced diet of solids and drinks water with them.

My choir instructor always made the tenor and the b sing these notes, I was always told that my low notes were very rich, richer than any other of the b voices in the choir. I was so confused I had a very slow vibrato mainly because of the weight on my voice. I started doing agility exercises/ rifts and runs I immediately notice that my vibrato was quicker than ever before. I had a lot of tongue pressure at the back of the throat when I started doing vowel exercises such as la ga, ya ya. ya ga, ta la, and la ga again my tone production sounded better than before. My choir instructor always told me that I have a wide vocal range and access to the higher notes I always looked at him like he was crazy. One day I was doing scales with a friend of mine who directs the choir in the church, I notice that I was able to sing all the way up to F4 my lowest note is a D2. With a fast vibrato, and a rich lower register I believe I'm a B Baritone my highest note so far in head voice is a G5 I'm learning new things about my voice everyday I just want to know if I'm right or I'm wrong about myself being a b baritone and am I taking the right guide lines in learning about my voice.

I am an inside sales representative for a company. All my work is done via phone. The rule that my company has is that anyone who lives locally has to work out of the office, but if you move to another city or state you can stay with the company and work from home and they also hire people that live in other cities and states and they get to work from their home. Basically what's happening is the people that live locally are being penalized because they have to come into the office, whereas anyone who already lives in another city or decided to relocate can work from home. I think this is extremely unfair. If I want to work from home, I have to actually move to another city or state. Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks.

For almost 2 years I have been hared by a adult female she is 38 and I am 24, I think this is all ridiculous! I know that the police and detectives have a lot more important things to do, my brother is a cop I understand, but she threatens me a lot and I do fear for my safety, I don't know what she is capable of. This woman has never met me, but continues to har me. She married my ex-boyfriend, we stopped dating along time before he met her, so there are no hard feelings there.(We were not good together anyway.) I don't understand why she is doing this to me. The only thing I can think of why she is doing this to me is because although my ex and I didn't work out, I am still friends with his mother. And also my mom is best friends with her too (ex's mom). Not gained weight during 1st trimester of pregnancy?

before i got pregnant i consistently weighed 8 stone and 2 pounds for a couple of years, but after my first trimester ended at about 13 weeks i though i would be brave and get weighed for the first time since being pregnant to see how much weight i had put on, (i had also just read in a e-mail newsletter that said i should have gained about 5 pounds) on weighing myself i found that i was exactly 8 stone! so instead of gaining anywhere around 5 pounds i lost two, i don't eat very well havn't done for years, as i don't have a mive appetite. but i had been trying to eat a little more and better, but i just don't see where i should have lost the weight even though its only small while i should have been gaining it, i stayed 8 stone from when i got weighed at about 13 weeks up to about 15and a half weeks and i am now 17 weeks and i am back too 8 stone 2, but no more, my belly is getting bigger by the day, and has been doing since i was 11 weeks, (this is my first pregnancy) its still only a small bump but i now look "pregnant". i just wondered if any other mums to be are experiencing this, or have experienced it?? i mean, i'm sure the baby will be ok? because it will just take what it needs, i just find it a bit odd :S
