Equine questions?

I have taken a filly from a real bad situation and she had snot nose and drainage. I cleared that up and now the stud that hung with her caught it. I is swollen lymph nodes and snot drainage. i have been administering penicilin but dont see any signs of clearing up does anyone know wht i could try. I heard score tabs for cattle but not sure.
