I broke a HUGE hole through my friends drywall?!? how do i fix it!?!?

With it being 7" wide you could pick up a couple of sheetrock patches (these are sticky on the back and wire mesh front) from the local hardware store (Lowe's or Home Depot, etc.) You'll need some joint compound, large putty knife (10"), large sanding pads (all these are in the sheetrock section). Put the patches over the holes the run a thin layer of the joint compound over the patch. You'll want to build it higher in the middle of the patch and run it down to nothing a few inches past the edge. Let the first layer dry (over night) then apply another layer going out just a little further and let dry. Next sand smooth-you may need to do a third layer and sand again. Prime and then paint.
