Please answer my questions about distortions and wah pedals.?

The Wah pedal makes just that ..a High to Low wah-wah sound as you push the pedal back & forth with your foot. They are powered by batteries! Overdrive will give you a more natural distorted sound while a distortion pedal, depending on the model will give you a more "fuzzy" sound depending on how you set the dials on it...you'll get a more Raunchy sound than Overdrive! If you go to a place like Guitar Center, you can sample various pedals! Also, check out www.musiciansfriend.com and they have sound bites of various pedals too!
