Will the weather in California be warm enough to swim during Spring Break?

I'll be in California (Mostly in LA, Laguna & San Diego) and im wondering if it'll be warm enough to swim while im there for Spring Break (April 16-26). What are the temperatures around that time. Will i come back with a nice tan?:)
