ume AGW is correct - do you agree with Pres. Obama's desire for lenders to resume making auto loans?

I think the main unintended consequence of the government getting into the banking industry is a real disaster. Businesses and people use loans to make this country go. If you control the money, you have the power to destroy. They will destroy jobs and lower our standard of living. People won't purchase big cars because those would be forbidden to be built. We would have to wait in line for some electric piece of garbage that wouldn't even be sold without mandates. Government control produces shortages and lines. Those that love socialism typically are simply ignorant of its history and the misery it causes. They will turn America the superpower into France.
